Chapter 30:
Bittersweet Symphony:
Monday,
I stare blankly at the small
white envelope which has been thrust into my hand. “Wha…?”
“An invitation,” Trowa
replies with a small smile on his visage. “My birthday party…of sorts.”
“Oh yeah! It’s on the
fifteenth…”
“Yes, but I insist on
celebrating it this Saturday. No presents please,” he adds quickly. “If you
wish to give me anything, then make a donation to this.”
He slaps a flyer against my
chest which I read through carefully. “Save the Music,” I mutter. “A program
dedicated to promoting music in schools across the country. Wow, Trowa, that’s
a great idea.”
He shrugs and tries to brush
the compliment aside. “I’ve been involved with it for a while…Quatre and I
actually. In fact, the ‘party’ is going to be held at a concert being hosted by
a bunch of kids at a local elementary school. I want you and Duo to be there.”
“Sure, we’ll be…”
“Want us to be where?” Duo
says as he walks up behind me to plant a kiss on my jaw. Classes are ending for
the second period and many of the students are now loitering around the
hallways as they get ready for the next class. Quatre shows up a second later,
smiling warmly at us while stuffing his English textbook into his bag. He and
Duo are in the same class for that particular subject.
“Trowa’s inviting us to his
birthday party this weekend…” I begin in explanation.
“Sweet! I didn’t know it was
your birthday! What kind of party is it gonna be?”
“Attending a concert,” Quatre
replies as he walks up to Trowa, who gives him a soft kiss on his forehead.
They share a look between them that speaks volumes and I’m aware of feeling a
bit hot under the collar at their intimacy. I know that Duo and I share that,
but I can’t help thinking that on some level, the relationship between Trowa
and Quatre is way deeper than any of us can even comprehend. Ever heard of that
cliché term called ‘soul mates’? I really do believe that Quatre and Trowa are
just that.
Duo raises a brow and looks
quizzical. “Attending a concert? A rock concert?”
Quatre sniggers and shakes
his head. “No, no. Trowa and I are a part of the Save the Music Foundation. It’s
a program geared towards promoting music in schools. This Saturday, there’s
going to be a concert hosted by the students of
“Wow…you guys…” Duo begins in
slight awe and I don’t blame him. We had no idea those two were so involved
with something this…big. However, my thoughts are distracted as I notice Wufei
over Trowa and Quatre’s shoulders. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him – two
days to be exact. He was off this weekend at the store, which was a welcome
reprieve from having to deal with any more awkward moments. But, I know it’s foolish
of me to feel this way, still afraid (worried seems much better) to look him in
the eye for fear I’d see that pained look again. Duo must have felt my
anxiousness because he reaches for my hand to squeeze it gently in reassurance.
“Hey, Wufei!” Quatre calls out
with a light wave. He holds out the same envelope Trowa had given to me. “An
invitation to Trowa’s birthday party.”
“Oh…?”
“You will come, won’t you,
Wufei?” Duo suddenly says with a grin, even though I feel his grip tightening
within mine.
Wufei pretends not to have
heard Duo as he reads the card silently. He’s already nodding before he’s
through. “Sounds like fun. I’m sure Dorothy would like it as well.”
Say what?!
Duo and I exchange a quick
look, our eyes wide and speaking volumes. Did he…? Had he just said…?
I turn to look at Wufei and
there’s a small smirk on his lips now as his eyes finally meet mine. Is he
messing around with us or are he and Dorothy really giving their relationship a
shot?
Apparently, we’re not the
only ones who are stumped by the news/declaration. Trowa raises a brow.
“Dorothy?”
“Yes,” comes the simple
reply….with no other explanation forthcoming. I think he’s enjoying our
discomfort and is relishing our obvious curiosity.
“Well spill it, man!” Duo
finally bursts out in exasperation. “Are you with Dorothy or not?”
Wufei shrugs and shifts his
backpack from his right to left shoulder. “That’s for me to know and for you to
find out. I’ll see you guys later.”
“Black tie!” Quatre yells
after him, although his eyes are still filled with a million and one unspoken questions.
“What was that all about?”
Trowa asks, now staring at Duo and I as if we have all the answers.
“Yeah…he and…Dorothy?” Quatre adds with a light shake
of his head. “Now I know the world’s officially ending.”
“He’s just fucking with us,”
Duo mutters, his gaze still trained on Wufei’s departing figure. “He’s got to
be. I thought you said he was adamant on not being with Dorothy?!”
Now, he’s looking at me as if I have all the answers and suddenly I’m
feeling quite pissed off and irritated about the whole thing. “How should I
know?” I snap in return. “You were the one who said Dorothy had decided to
pursue him with everything she’s got. So maybe she finally got to him. Who the
hell knows?!”
“Uuum…why are you two arguing
over that?” Quatre asks in bemusement.
And in unison, Duo and I turn
to them to yell at the same time. “We’re not arguing!”
“Riiight,” Trowa drawls. “And
I’m actually the Pope. Come on, Quatre. We’ve got practice now.”
As soon as they leave, I seem
to deflate a little, sighing and running fingers through my hair before
catching Duo’s wary look. “What?”
“I thought you would be
happier about the news,” he says quietly, still watching me with that guarded
look that can be quite aggravating at times. It makes me squirm and it's as if
he can read my very thoughts.
“What are you talking about?”
“Dorothy and Wufei being
together,” he replies, raising a brow.
“Of course I’m happy,” I say,
faintly aware of my raised voice and feigned nonchalant attitude. “Why
shouldn’t I be? It’s what I’ve always wanted, isn’t it?”
Duo stares at me a moment
longer before shrugging. “If you say so. You just…”
He stops and I have to prod
him to continue. “I just what?”
“Nothing,” he says, as he
begins to lead the way out of the building. “Well something actually.” He
smiles at me, a knowing look in his eye. “You just sounded jealous for a minute
back there but maybe I was just reading too much into it. See you at lunch.”
Before I can say anything
else, he plants a quick kiss at the corner of my mouth before taking off for
the
“That’s…that’s stupid,” I
finally mutter, forcing a scowl on my visage as I spin on my heels to make my
way towards the Science labs. “What’s there to be jealous about? I’m happy for
him, goddamn it and that’s the way it’s going to be.”
__
Lunchtime:
And all six of us have
noticed the obvious absence of two of our friends.
“Well...” Relena begins with
a light cough. “That’s definitely odd.”
“Maybe they have a kendo club
meeting,” Hilde offers with a wide smile, while picking through her bento box.
Her Home Economics class has been working on Japanese meals for the past week
or so and she was kind enough to make small lunches for all of us today. The
meal is delicious all things considered, and she is creative enough to arrange
the food pieces in such a way that they resemble our school crest. She even put
a ‘gold star’ (fried eggs in the shape of a star and dotted with carrots) in my
box as a symbol of my status as President.
“But I saw Hiromi standing
outside with his friends,” Quatre said. “And isn’t he one of the instructors?
Why would he miss a meeting?”
“Maybe they had to meet a
teacher afterwards or something…” Trowa began.
“Together?” Quatre asked
quizzically. “Hmmm…but then again, he did say they were both becoming an item…”
“He didn’t actually say
that,” I find myself saying. “He just said he’d invite Dorothy to the party,
that’s all.”
They all look at me as if
I’ve said the most outrageous thing in the world. There must have been
something in my voice to make them look this wary and suddenly I find the
patterns of my food a bit more fascinating. The silence is oppressive until Duo
clears his throat and gets to his feet.
“Where are you going, Duo?”
Relena asks as I lift my gaze slowly to watch him stretch his arms over his
head.
“Basketball,” he replies with
a smile and even I can feel it’s a bit forced. “I’ve gotta catch up to Septum
and figure out what he wants with me. I’ll see you guys later.”
No extra reference to me. No
kiss. Not even another look back. Yes, Duo’s pissed off with me and I’m sure it
has something to do with…
“You should learn how to hide
your emotions,” Trowa says as the door closes behind Duo with a firm click.
“You used to be good at it.”
“What’s that supposed to
mean?” I reply with a light frown.
“What he’s saying, doofus,”
Relena says with a shake of her head. “Is that it’s obvious you’re jealous over
Wufei being with Dorothy.”
“What are you all talking
about?! I don’t care if Wufei’s with Dorothy or not! Hello?! Have you all
forgotten that I’m the one who tried to get them together?!”
“Yes, but then again, you’ve
never really liked Wufei being with anyone else, have you, Heero?” Hilde - of
all people - says. I stare at her in stunned silence…before catching everyone’s
knowing gaze. And they should look that way. They’ve been with me from the
beginning and should be used to my quirks and nuances by now…whatever those
might be.
“That’s…that’s not true…”
“Sure it is,” Relena says
with a firm nod as she polishes off the last piece of smoked sausage. “Wufei’s
always been your friend and was always there for you and with you from the
beginning. You hoarded his friendship…if that’s the right word.” She looks to
the others for confirmation and they nod in agreement. “Oh, it’s not like you
two were so obvious in your relationship. You were as communicative as a brick
wall…”
Ouch.
“…and he wasn’t exactly Mr.
Personality, but you two clicked in some weird cosmic-karma-like-thing way.”
“You both applied to Wonder
Mart,” Trowa chimes in, his gaze distant as if remembering the events of the
past and to be honest, I wish they’d just shut up now. I really hate the
direction this conversation is going.
“…he helped you find your
apartment…” Hilde adds.
“Remember how much you tried
to talk him out of dating that girl from Class 1-C? What was her name again?”
Quatre asks, placing a hand against his forehead as if in deep thought.
“Rita!” Relena squeals in
delight, causing the others to laugh. Rita, who is no longer a member of
Fujisaki, was as psychotic as they come. She had a ‘Goth’ personality and
literally hung around Wufei like a dark cloud. She eventually transferred
because her father was sent to another state.
“Yes, but you saw how she
was,” I reply quickly. “Would you let anyone close to you date a girl like
that?”
“Well no,” Trowa says, “But
at least we aren’t keeping our friends away from dating other people…”
“I did not keep him away from
dating others…!”
“So how come it took him
almost two years to finally find a girl like Nia?” Relena asked, pointing her
chopsticks at me. “He was only staying away from them because of you!”
“Wha…?”
“He’s always liked you,
Heero,” Hilde says quietly, closing up her box with a small smile. “And we’re
not saying that you and Duo aren’t a great couple and are wonderful for each
other but…”
“He was too dumb…” Trowa
says.
“…too proper…” Quatre adds.
“…too good of a friend to get
in the way of your happiness,” Relena finishes with a grin. “So don’t you get
in the way of his now, Yuy. You wanted him to be with Dorothy and he’s giving it
a shot. Allow them to work this thing out and if it wasn’t meant to be, then it
wasn’t meant to be. Your work is done.”
She rises to her feet and the
others follow suit, while I’m still frozen to my chair in disbelief. I really
had no idea my friends knew this much about me…no, about Wufei’s feelings for
me. How blind had I been all these years? Is that really the case? Is a deep
part of me still anxious at the thought of losing Wufei to someone else?
“Bye, Heero!” someone says
and I must have given some kind of response for the room is soon quiet with
only the ticking clock and long afternoon shadows for company.
“It’s not true,” I whisper in
the silence. “I do care for him but…I want him to be happy too. I really do.”
I groan and sink my fingers
into my hair, wondering just how to deal with both boys. Luckily, I can catch
Duo at home and try to talk to him. And as for Wufei, I’ll just have to
confront him in some way and put this all to rest.
__
My Apartment
Duo’s not back yet and his dinner
is getting cold. I know he had to stop at Sid’s today to begin formal training
but it shouldn’t take him this long to get back home from the Shop.
Idiot. He’s still mad at you, remember?
Mad? I’m not sure if that’s
the right word. I did see him after school and he waved to me from a distance
but that was about it. If Duo was really upset with me, I doubt he would have
given me the time of day. With a soft sigh, I stick his plate of food into the
fridge and find myself staring at the front door again, hoping it would be
thrown wide open and he’d be standing there with a goofy grin on his face.
But ten minutes later and
Duo’s still not shown up. I’m now pacing the small living room in growing
agitation, homework left unfinished as I stare at the telephone every now and
then. I could just call the Shop and see if he’s left or not. But I don’t want
Duo thinking I don’t trust him or that I’m being too nosey about his affairs.
However, shouldn’t I be? I mean we aren’t a married couple or anything but we’ve
been together for quite some time now and I think it’s safe to say that I
should be aware of his outside activities. He certainly knows mine.
Suddenly the telephone rings
and I all but snatch it out of its cradle. “Duo?” I ask, holding my breath and
wishing I had looked at the caller ID first.
“Hey, Heero...!”
What…what’s with all the loud
noise behind him? Where the hell is he?!
“…eero?! …an you hear me?!”
“Yes, I can hear you! Where
the fuck are you?!”
“You won’t believe it!” he
yells back and now I can hear laughter in the background and Duo telling
someone to knock it off. My grip on the phone tightens, my teeth gritting in
growing anger.
“…guy from my former school
stopped by the Shop today and he’s only going to be in town tonight. So we figured
we’d have a few drinks…”
“Duo! It’s a fucking school
night!” I bellow, slamming my hand on the table. “Why are you out drinking…?!”
“We’re not at some bar!” he
retorts, now sounding angry as well. “Geez, give me some fucking credit! Sid
bought some drinks and we’re still at the shop! And just in case you’re
wondering Mother Dearest, I’m not
drinking anything alcoholic!”
“That’s not the point!” The
laughter is becoming louder and I can vaguely hear someone calling for Duo. I
swear…
“I’ll be home before ten!”
“Duo! That’s not the fucking
point! You should be here…!” Here with me, goddamn it! I don’t want to lose you
to your other friends!
/You hoarded him…/ Just like Wufei.
I slump to the floor and rest
my forehead against the wall now feeling more alone than I’ve ever felt before
in my life. “Just…come home soon…” I whisper softly.
“What? What did you say,
Heero?!”
“Come home soon!” I yell.
“I…I’ll be waiting!”
A long silence only
interrupted by the sounds of his laughing friends in the background, have me
holding my breath in worry.
“Duo…?”
“I’ll be home,” he finally
says and I think I can hear a smile in his voice. “And Heero?”
“Yes?”
“You’d make a fine wife
someday.”
“…what the fuck…?!”
His laughter fills my ear
before he hangs up on me and for a long minute, I can only stare at the device
in my hand like a moron.
A fine…wife?! How dare he mock my masculinity?!
…so why the hell am I smiling
like a lovesick girl?
“Wife indeed,” I say to
myself as I get to my feet to tackle my homework for the night. “Next thing you
know, he’ll be proposing to me.”
I flush darkly at the thought
and shake my head rapidly…and pinch my cheeks for good measure. I have to snap
out of this stupid daydream soon because as we all know, reality can be much more
cruel.
__
I shall now proceed to give
you a quick rundown of the events leading up to this day (Saturday) as quickly
as I can.
Tuesday:
Duo ended up missing school
because of a killer hangover. He swore he had no idea Sid had spiked the root
beers with vodka and had ended up drinking about three cans of the beverage. Believe
me I was ready to scold him to kingdom come, but looking at his pale features,
I didn’t have the heart to do it. My attempts to speak to Wufei didn’t go as
planned. Although we are in the same Biology class, he kept doing his best to
avoid me. He skipped out on lunch with us again although Dorothy showed up. I
noticed she looked quite…happy (trust me it is an odd expression to see on the
girl’s visage) and our theories that she and Wufei might be getting close seems
to be confirmed.
Wednesday:
Student Council meetings and
preparations for my successor are on the way. The hallways are beginning to
fill up with banners and posters for possible candidates but it’s obvious that
Akira’s the front runner. And not to play favorites but…he is my favorite and I
hope he does win come election time.
Thursday:
Wufei finally joins us for
lunch but try as hard as we might to get him to confess to he and Dorothy being
an item, he laughs and brushes it off. To make it worse, Dorothy plays along
too!
Grrrrr…I swear those two…!
Friday:
The Dance Club was throwing a
social event while the Drama club (which Duo had bailed out of much to his
teacher’s dismay) wished to make use of the auditorium at the same time. Chaos
erupted as both clubs filled my office demanding to have access to the hall.
Eventually, the Drama Club had to give in since Dance had sent in a request to
the council earlier (Thankfully, Kenzo had it filed). A chess competition was
held later on that afternoon and three other schools showed up for the event. I
peeked in to watch for a while, trying not to be bored out of my skull.
Actually, the only reason I showed up was because Quatre was a part of it. His
team won, of course, but I only heard this afterwards. Another meeting after
school was held to discuss the Council’s budget for the year. We had saved up
enough money to have the annual Winter’s Ball which the Press Club was going to
sponsor although it would mean cutting funds for the Sports Festival in two
weeks. I knew it was time to start delegating such tasks to the juniors since
we seniors have to get ready for our exams. I can vividly remember Zechs doing
such things last year and I was damn proud to be given such power and
authority. I could only hope that Akira does a good job with this.
Ah, P.S: Duo cooked a great
dinner (Italian) that night and that, it goes without saying, his body made
quite the delicious dessert afterwards.

Wonder Mart
Saturday,
“You’ve been avoiding me.”
“What do you mean? You see me
in school everyday.”
“Yeah, about two seconds
before you vanish.”
“All right, now I’m here, you
have my undivided attention. What do you want to talk about?”
I open my mouth to reply but
the words falter as he finally pins those dark eyes on me. I’m embarrassed to
find my cheeks becoming hot and I couldn’t be gladder for the wall of orange
juice cans between us. But this is great, isn’t it? I’ve been trying to talk to
him all week and now that I finally have him near, I can’t remember a damn
thing.
“Well?”
“Shut up,” I snap irritably.
“I’m trying to think.”
He snickers and I glare at
him, feeling our old camaraderie returning in some way. “Well, don’t think too
long,” he says as he picks up another can to place a price tag on it. “My lunch
break is in half an hour.”
“You know what I want to find
out,” I reply, having to lower my voice a little as several customers walk by.
“Why don’t you just stop beating around the bush and just tell me.”
“What difference would it
make?” he asks. “If I said yes, Dorothy and I are dating, would you be relieved
or happy or what? And if I said we weren’t, would that still make you relieved
that I’m still single and you’ve still got your fallback guy?”
I gasp at the insinuation,
meeting his eyes between the holes created by the cans. “Wha…? That’s not fair,
Wufei.”
“Isn’t it?” He shrugs and
labels another can. “You never really wanted me to date others and I held on to
the hope that it was because you…liked me or something.”
“I did…do like you,” I
whisper back harshly. “But I never deliberately prevented you from dating other
people! It was your choice…!”
“Yes, it was but it was also
because I could see how distant you would become whenever I hung around with
another girl. I hated that.” He turns away to drag another crate of juice from
a large trolley. For a long minute, I can only watch him, feeling an enormous
sense of guilt eating away inside of me. So the others were right then. I was
too selfish to care about his feelings and like Relena said…hoarded him to
myself until it was too late.
“I’m…I’m sorry,” I finally
whisper, gripping a can of juice tightly.
“It’s no big deal now,” he
replies.
“Yes, it is. If I hadn’t
been…”
“Forget it, Heero,” he says
firmly, pinning a somewhat stern look at me. “What’s done is done and we’ve got
to move on, right? We both made mistakes and we’ve only got to learn from it
and not repeat them again, hmm?”
“I…I guess so.”
He nods and then smiles
softly. “She’s a nice girl when you peel back the layers a bit.”
I blink in confusion for a
moment before it dawns on me. I match his smile. “Duo said that as well. She’s
really not that…creepy I guess.”
“I had no idea she was into
swords,” he continues and I notice his cheeks are a bit pink. Wufei blushing? When was the last time I saw
that?! “Her grandfather has a large selection and we’re going to see it
tomorrow…and that’s all I’m telling you about her.” He turns away and continues
to work on the display with increased vigor while my smile seems to be growing
wider and wider with each passing second.
I feel so much better now and
realize that my feelings of jealousy are unfounded. I have never really lost
Wufei as a friend and even if he eventually ends up with Dorothy, I really should
have nothing to worry about. And I sincerely hope it will continue to be that
way for a very long time to come.

My Apartment
“Dude, we’ve seriously got to
get us a car!” Duo says with a groan as he kicks off his shoes and staggers towards
the bed to plop on it in exhaustion. “How embarrassing is it to be driven
around town by Relena?”
“Fine, fine, we’ll go car
hunting next week,” I mumble as I begin to take off my bow tie and tuxedo
jacket. Trowa hadn’t been kidding when he said the event was going to be black
tie. Everyone was dressed to the nines and the boys had to admit that the girls
looks absolutely stunning in their evening gowns. The concert was a blast and I
think I’ve gotten a newfound appreciation for classical music. I think I’m
going to buy some CDs tomorrow just to familiarize myself with…
“Duo!” I protest
half-heartedly as he creeps up behind me to sink his hand into the front of my
pants. He laughs, a husky sound against my ear that sends delicious shivers
down my spine. His fingers find their target and begins to squeeze gently,
causing my knees to tremble at how good it feels.
“You have no idea how long
I’ve wanted to do this to you all evening,” he mutters thickly, his tongue now
licking tiny trails of fire down my jaw and back up to nibble on my ear lobe
gently.
“Then just do it already,” I
whisper huskily, my thoughts a jumbled mass of mush as he tugs down my
underwear to wrap his warm fingers around my pulsating cock. Damn! I think I’m
going to come pretty damn soon!
“Aaah…Duo!” I place my hands
against the wall to steady myself, spreading my legs apart a little to give him
more room to do as he pleases. “I’m going to…don’t…not so fast…” I hiss in a
harsh breath, feeling that familiar but incredible rush of heat which goes
straight to my swollen co…
BRIIING!
“Fuck!” Duo cries out as the
moment is shattered with the loud shrill noise from the telephone. How the hell
does he think I feel?
“Don’t…” I try to plead,
hoping he’d ignore it and finish up what he’s started. I’m dying here but he’s
already picking up the phone and barking into it.
“What do you want?!”
I walk up to him and wrap my
arms around his waist, my hands beginning to reciprocate his earlier actions.
My lips are just about to trail kisses down his jaw when I feel him stiffen in
my arms.
“…this is Duo Maxwell…Heero’s
friend…sir…”
Sir?!
I pull away, noticing how
pale he looks. I can barely hear the other voice at the end of the line but if
Duo’s visage is any indication, I think I know who it is.
“I apologize for yelling,
sir. I’ll get him for you.”
He gives me the phone without
saying a word as I ask him who it is with a raised brow.
“Your dad,” he mouths, now
looking as if he wished he was anywhere but here. Oh, dear God.
“Da…dad?” I begin slowly.
“How…?”
“Who in God’s name was that,
Heero?!” he thunders from the other end. “What kind of friends do you keep? How
rude!”
“Sorry, dad. He just thought
you were someone else…”
“Well someone ought to teach
him some manners, that’s what. Your mother wants to speak to you.”
The phone exchanges hands as
I groan and try to catch Duo’s gaze. He’s watching me but with extreme wariness
in his eyes. I try to smile at him in reassurance but my mother’s already
speaking to me.
“Heero, sweetie. How are you?”
“Fine…mom…”
“Great! Great! Well, guess
what? We’ll be coming down to visit you next week and we can have dinner like
we always do, okay? Do you need money or anything?”
Visit…next…week?! My heart slams hard within my chest and I think breathing is becoming
a bit difficult.
“Heero?!”
“No…I mean…I’m fine…” My
voice sounds distant. Hell! I feel distant and disconnected from what’s
happening right now. It’s as if I’m watching all the events taking place from a
mile away.
“That’s good because the Ogatas
will be joining us. You do remember them, don’t you?”
NO! Not them! Not Misa! Not
now!!
“It’s going to be wonderful
to catch up on old times again,” my mother’s saying but I can barely hear a
damn word she’s saying. My heartbeat is racing so fast, I think I’m losing
blood circulation to that area.
“Mom…can’t we just have
dinner alone…why do they have to come…?”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” my
father suddenly says and I’m sure he’s talking from another phone in the house.
“The Ogatas are good family friends and they’ve been asking about you
especially Misa. She misses you a lot.”
I’ll bet.
“So we’ll have dinner with
them on Saturday at the usual restaurant. We’ll call you again to let you know
what time, okay?”
“You be good now, Heero,” my
father chimes in again. “And make sure you watch the kind of friends you make.
God forbid I get to meet that rude boy in person.”
I choke and Duo pounds my
back gently to help me breathe again. I’m hardly aware of them saying their
goodbyes as I hang up the phone with hands that feel a thousand pounds heavier.
What do I do? What do I do now?
“Heero?” Duo asks slowly as
if worried about what I have to say to him. “They’re coming over?”
I nod slowly, chewing my
lower lip in thought. I can’t tell him. I can’t tell him just yet. It would
kill him as it’s killing me now.
“Well that’s great then,
right?” he says with a smile. “I can see him in person and apologize for what I
did…mmmphff!”
I push him back to the bed,
my lips still locked on his. “Don’t say anything,” I finally breathe harshly as
I begin to undress him as fast as my hands can manage. “Just fuck me as hard as
you can Duo.”
“Wha…what…?”
“Make me forget,” I beg
fervently as I trail my lips down his jaw with fevered kisses. “Make me forget
everything…”
TBC…
